MDI Non-Resident Affiliates
The Massive Data Institute (MDI) at the McCourt School of Public Policy is focused on broadening our community by increasing the footprint of our interdisciplinary research and our relationship to the community. As a central hub for technology and policy conversations and research at Georgetown University, the MDI Non-Resident Affiliate program will bring in experts across disciplines to generate new knowledge and contribute to the intellectual discussions at MDI. Launched in Fall 2024, MDI Non-Resident Affiliate program provides experts across disciplines and opportunity to create meaningful connections with faculty, staff, and students associated with MDI. MDI is not currently accepting applications for Non-Resident Affiliates.

MDI Non-Resident Affiliates
Eleni Antoniadou Dimokidis, Ph.D.
Eleni Antoniadou Dimokidis, Ph.D. (she/her) is the Head of Healthcare Technology across Asia Pacific and Japan at Amazon Web Services. In this capacity, she spearheads healthcare technology innovation taking the lead in nationwide digital transformations of hospital systems through close collaboration with Ministries of Health and governments. With a wealth of experience as a technology leader and legal advisor, she possesses a multidisciplinary education, holding a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from University College London, an MSc in Bioengineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MSc in Nanotechnology from University College London, an LLB in Law from University of London and a BSc in Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics from University of Thessaly. Andrew Gamino-Cheong
Andrew Gamino-Cheong (he/him) is the co-founder & CTO of Trustible, a DC based AI governance software company focused on helping organizations manage and mitigate AI risk, build trust, and accelerate responsible AI development. In his role at Trustible, Andrew participates in AI safety research, evangelizes responsible AI practices, and contributes to standard setting work by the IEEE, and NIST AI Safety Institute Consortium. Prior to Trustible, Andrew spent 7.5 years at FiscalNote (NYSE: NOTE) in a variety of software engineer, tech lead, and engineering director roles where he helped FiscalNote build proprietary data ingestion systems, scalable search infrastructure, and a collaborative machine learning platform. Andrew has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland where he was advised by Dr Philip Resnik, and a B.S in Computer Science and Government from Georgetown University where he did research with Dr Lisa Singh.
