Join the Georgetown community to help close the gender gap on Wikipedia by increasing the representation of underrepresented groups — in both Wikipedia content and contributors — on topics such as women in politics, women in STEM, and women in the arts.
As part of a collaboration across the university, Georgetown University is also partnering with Wikimedia District of Columbia and the Wikimedia Foundation to host the second annual Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Women’s History Month. This year’s program occurs during Georgetown University’s Tech & Society Week 2026.
