The Team Members
The EIDC is a collaborative project that provides data, data tools and community connections to help community groups, policy-makers and researchers transform data into solutions that promote environmental justice and fight climate change. The EIDC is based at the Massive Data Institute in the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.
The team consists of faculty, researchers and students who ingest data, build tools and partner with community groups and policy-makers. Central to the concept of the EIDC is collaboration with partners at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with significant work with scholars at Howard University and Morgan State University. We are proud of the work we have done and the relationships we have built with Howard University, Morgan State University, the federal government and public interest advocates.
As you read about our activities and impact, please let us know how we can help you. We are confident that your ideas, energy and participation will help our uniquely collaborative space grow and advance the cause of using data to foster environmental justice and fight climate change. The EIDC is supported by a grant from the Bezos Earth Fund.
