Announcing Fall 2026 Research at MDI

The Massive Data Institute is pleased to welcome 13 new scholars to our Fall 2026 cohort.  Representing 3 departments, including 4 from our own McCourt School, this year’s group brings a wide range of research interests.

Each scholar will spend the term working with faculty in MDI, the Department of Computer Science, and McDonough School of Business, gaining hands-on experience with the kind of problems that rarely make it into a classroom.  Key projects this semester include the Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) in Education initiative and the Federal Data Sharing Watch.
