Data Commons

Publicly available data about different segments of the population are scattered across government, NGO and other sites. Data commons create a single interface for accessing these data and tools to support linking and analysis. MDI researchers, data scientists, and technical staff work together to create issue specific Data Commons to help identify inequities that may exist but are unknown because of the inability to find the relevant data. Data Commons are open data repositories that are available for exploring and developing evidence-based public policy.
